Free plan and limits
What the free plan includes, what counts toward each limit, and what happens when you reach one.
Airdash has a free plan that is free forever, with no card needed. Paid plans for people who need more are coming soon.
What the free plan includes
| Limit | Free plan |
|---|---|
| Databases | 100 |
| Storage, all databases together | 1 GB |
| Rows written per month | 1,000,000 |
| Reads and SQL queries | Not limited |
Everything else is included: the MCP server, the spreadsheet view, restoring a database to any minute in the last 30 days, and exporting your data.
Made for many small databases
Airdash works best when each scheduled task, list or project gets its own small database: one for the leads your outreach agent contacts, one for the posts your social agent replies to, one for a research project. 100 databases is plenty for that, and small databases are easier for agents and people to understand.
They are meant for your agents to keep track of their work. Airdash is not really meant to be the main database behind a product you are building, although you can use it that way.
What counts
- Databases: every database you have, in any project. Deleting a database frees its place.
- Storage: the size of all your databases together. A database with a few thousand rows is usually well under a megabyte.
- Rows written: every row inserted or updated, by an agent or by you in the spreadsheet view, including rows from a CSV import and upserts with
match_on. The count resets on the first of each month (UTC). - Not counted: reading rows, running SQL with
run_sql, changing tables and fields, and deleting rows.
See your usage
The bottom of your databases page shows your usage of each limit. Agents can call the get_account MCP tool, which returns the same numbers with each limit and when the monthly count resets.
When you reach a limit
Airdash refuses the write and says which limit you reached. Nothing is lost:
- reading, exporting and running SQL keep working,
- deleting rows and databases is always allowed, so you can make room,
- the monthly count of rows written starts again on the first of the month.
A batch that would go over the limit is refused as a whole, so it is never half written.
Rate limits
To stop a runaway agent or script, Airdash also limits how many calls you make in a short time. The limits are high: normal use, even busy scheduled jobs, never gets near them.
| Per minute | Per hour | |
|---|---|---|
| Reads | 600 | 10,000 |
| Writes | 300 | 5,000 |
- A read is one call that reads data: a
run_sqlquery, a page of rows in the spreadsheet view, or a record page. - A write is one call that inserts, updates or deletes rows, up to 100 rows at a time. A CSV import counts one write per 100 rows.
- The MCP server also accepts at most 120 requests per minute.
Over a limit, the call is refused with a message saying how long to wait, usually seconds. Nothing else is affected. If an agent keeps hitting the limits, have it batch its work: send up to 100 rows per call, and use one run_sql with a join instead of many small queries.
